For the past year, Perpetual Energy Partners have made conversions for a factory in the mainland. The factory has production, which averages 50 hours a week. With the large area involved in its production lines, inventory storage and warehouses, this demands substantial numbers of lights in its factory.
The conversion involved various lighting devices from T8 Light Tubes to Spotlights to High Bay Lights. The owner of the factory wanted minimal intrusiveness as their production has been particularly busy in its peak season. The lighting has to be of equal luminance specifically in their Quality Assurance area where inspection of scratches and imperfection has to be detected before packaging.
Perpetual Energy arrived upon the client’s factory to give a free consultation of their existing lighting infrastructure where lights were quantified. The models of each light used were also recorded to later generate a report of their existing set-up’s consumption of energy and operating electricity cost. The team then determines which LED Light would be best used to replace our client’s lights. Our vast array and high customizability ensures that the transition is seamless. A report is also generated of this new LED set-up to compare it with their existing figures.
The table of results made it obvious for our client with the conversion where savings exceeded 53% of their annual energy expenditure for lighting as well as a payback period of 14 months. Upon conversion, close to 100,000 kW of energy has been saved annually from the factory’s operation.
